FAQ

FAQ & How to Play

Quick answers about modes, challenges and settings.

How to Play

What's the goal of ToonTone?

You're shown a flag, logo, cartoon or object with its true colors hidden. Use the Hue, Saturation and Brightness sliders to recreate the exact color before time or guesses run out.

What's the difference between Classic, Multiplayer and Duel?

Classic is solo play against your own best score. Multiplayer matches you online with other players. Duel is a local 1v1 on one device — pass the phone and whoever scores higher wins.

What is the Daily Challenge?

A fresh set of challenges every day, shared by all players. Your streak resets if you miss a day, so try to check in daily.

Account & Progress

I lost my progress after reinstalling — can I get it back?

Progress is stored on your device. If you didn't have cloud sync enabled before uninstalling, local scores can't be recovered. Email us and we'll see what we can do.

How do I change the app language?

ToonTone follows your device's system language automatically. Change your phone's language in its Settings app and reopen ToonTone.

Troubleshooting

The app is crashing or freezing — what should I do?

Try restarting the app, then your device, then make sure you're on the latest version from the App Store. Still stuck? Use Report a Bug and tell us your device model and iOS version.

Multiplayer won't connect

Check your internet connection and make sure ToonTone isn't blocked by a VPN or firewall. If it persists on Wi-Fi and mobile data, contact support.
