About this mode
Forty-five national flags you have seen a thousand times. Their exact shades are another matter entirely.
National flags are the clearest way to train your color eye. They use flat, deliberate color fields with no texture or shading to hide a mistake, so the moment the real flag appears you can see precisely whether you missed on hue, on intensity or on lightness.

How scoring works
Each guess is scored out of 10 based on how far your color sits from the real one. Five rounds are averaged into a final score, so one weak round does not decide the run. The reveal after every guess is the part that makes you better — it shows whether you missed on hue, on saturation or on brightness.
Leaderboard
Finishing a run places you on the public leaderboard for this category, with a 24-hour ranking that resets daily and an all-time ranking. No account is needed — just pick a nickname.
Frequently asked questions
Which flags are included in the quiz?
The quiz covers 45 national flags, from widely recognized ones such as France, Japan and Brazil to flags whose exact shades are much harder to recall.
Are the flag colors the official ones?
Yes. Every flag uses its official color reference, which is why a shade that looks close can still score below a perfect match.
Do I need to know anything about flags to play?
No. You are shown the flag with one color removed, so you always know which flag you are looking at. The challenge is remembering the exact shade, not identifying the country.
Is it free to play?
Yes. Every mode on this site is free, with no account, no sign-up and no ads. The iOS app adds more challenges, multiplayer and daily runs.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. The game works in any modern mobile or desktop browser, with nothing to install.
