About this mode
Two colors, one result. Can you see where the blend lands before it appears?
This mode asks something different from the rest of the site: not what you remember, but what you can predict. Navy and gold, seafoam and ruby, lemon and violet — anticipating where a blend lands is a skill that stays useful well beyond the game.

How scoring works
Each guess is scored out of 10 based on how far your color sits from the real one. Five rounds are averaged into a final score, so one weak round does not decide the run. The reveal after every guess is the part that makes you better — it shows whether you missed on hue, on saturation or on brightness.
Leaderboard
Finishing a run places you on the public leaderboard for this category, with a 24-hour ranking that resets daily and an all-time ranking. No account is needed — just pick a nickname.
Frequently asked questions
How does color mixing scoring work?
Each blend has one correct result. Your score out of 10 reflects how close your shade lands to it, so a near miss still earns most of the points.
Is this digital mixing or paint mixing?
Blends follow digital color behavior, the same model used by screens and design tools. Results can differ from mixing physical paint, where pigments behave differently.
Do I need any design experience?
None. The three sliders are the only controls, and every round shows you the correct blend afterwards, which is where most of the learning happens.
Is it free to play?
Yes. Every mode on this site is free, with no account, no sign-up and no ads. The iOS app adds more challenges, multiplayer and daily runs.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. The game works in any modern mobile or desktop browser, with nothing to install.
